Day 01 / Singapore – Dili – City tour
Meet/greet at airport immediately followed by Dili City tour.
The 5-hour tour includes visits to the main monuments and symbolic spots of the city, such as the Government Palace and the Casa Europa (the European House, a former colonial garrison), the Santa Cruz cemetery, the Taibesse Bazaar, the Dili cathedral, the Presidential Palace, and the statue of Christ (Cristo Rei) at the White Sand Beach.
Seafood dinner will be served in a local restaurant by the beach. Return to the hotel by 2100 hours.
Day 02 / Dili – Baucau – Dili
After breakfast, travel East along the north coast of country with its beautiful coastal cliffs; stop in Manatuto for a quick tour and have the chance to view some local arts and crafts; climb to Saint Anthony view-point and have a 3600 view of Manatuto area; proceed to Laleia and visit one of the most ancient Portuguese style Catholic church, built in 1933. We arrive at Baucau, to enjoy the beauty of this second most important city in Timor-Leste; go to the beach for a swim or stretch your legs by the local market. Lunch at the town’s lovely Pousada.
Return to Dili to arrive by 1900 hours. Overnight in Dili. (B/L/-)
Day 03 / Dili – Gleno – Aileu – Dili
Departing at 0800 hours from the hotel, we first stop by the memorial of Pope John Paul II in Taci-Tolo, near the airport. We then continue westwards along the coast to Tibar and then southwards to Railaco and Gleno, the capital of Ermera district at the core of coffee region; we’ll travel under magnificent and huge Madre-del-cacao trees which provides shade and protection for the coffee plants.
After Gleno we take the road to Seloi lagoon on our way to Aileu, a lovely village with alot of history in its monuments; we’ll touring the village while waiting for lunch in a local restaurant. If time permits, we´ll make a short visit to a coffee plantation before heading to Becilau and Dare, on the outskirt of Dili. Expect arrive in your hotel by 1800 hours. (B/L/-)
Day 04 / Dili – Singapore
The morning is free until our transfer to airport for our departure flight. (B/-/-)
