3D Kanchanaburi Jungle Raft,

This 3-day trip allows one to experience some of the highlights of the historically famous and scenically beautiful province of Kanchanaburi. See the Bridge over the River Kwai, ride on the Death Railway, visit a Mon village and take an excursion to Hell Fire Pass. Nights are spent on board delightful raft houses.
This tour departs Bangkok daily with a minimum of 2 persons.

Itinerary
Day 01 / Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (-/L/D)
Early morning pick up from hotel (approx 06.00-06.30) and depart for Kanchanaburi. After the 2-hour drive visit the Allied War Cemetery, the Thailand-Burma Railway Center War Museum and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Transfer to Pak Seng pier for a 30-minute boat ride up stream the Kwai Noi River to the Jungle Rafts. Afternoon excursion to Hell Fire Pass Memorial, the largest of 1000 meter series of passes hacked through the mountains by allied POWs (Prisoners of War) building the Death Railway and so named for its flaming torch-lit appearance at night. After dinner see a display of Mon dancing. Overnight.
Day 02 / Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Morning visit a near by local ethnic Mon village. Free time to experience an elephant-back ride, rafting down the Kwai Noi River, enjoy a Thai herbal massage, or visit the near by Lawa Cave (not included in the trip price).
Day 03 / Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B/L/-)
After lunch return by boat to Pak Seng and take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWs. Drive back to Bangkok, arriving in the early evening (approx 18.00).

- Tours and transfers by air-conditioned bus. Non air-conditioned transportation will be used in remote areas
- Accommodation in River Kwai Jungle Raft is in a bamboo raft house; it is of basic standard with attached cold shower and toilet. To preserve the natural atmosphere there is no electricity and illumination at night is by oil lamp.
