Silkair commences weekly regular scheduled flight to Christmas Island

Commencing August 2007, the Singapore and Australian Governments have approved this flight as a weekly regular scheduled passenger flight. Departing every Thursday from Changi International Airport at 1650 hours and returning back to Singapore at 2205 hours, the flights arrive on Christmas Island at 1805 hrs local time and depart for Singapore at 1850 hrs after a ground time of 45 minutes.
