6D Wonders of Cambodia,
Siem Reap & Phnom Penh

Cambodia’s majestic Khmer temples are one of the most alluring sights in all of Asia. Built over a thousand years ago, Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are a symphony of engineering and sculpture, with Khmer history writ large across the bas-reliefs.

Tonle Sap (The Great Lake)

For centuries, Angkor’s soaring towers and elaborately decorated cloisters were hidden from the rest of the world and were slowly engulfed by the jungle.

We have 4 days to explore the famous temple complex, making excursions to Angkor Wat & the nearby Angkor Thom, which combined, are the greatest of all archaeological sites in Asia. These temples were built between the 9th & 13th centuries when the Khmer Empire was the pre-eminent influence in South East Asia. There is plenty of time for exploring at your own pace. The size, beauty & scope of Angkor are simply breathtaking, as is the sunrise over the temples - a sight not to be missed!

Phnom Penh

Finally, a short boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake is amazing for the eco-system it supports and for the floating villages we’ll encounter.

Phnom Penh, capital city of Cambodia, was a bustling commercial hub during the French occupation and today has re-established itself as the political and financial centre of the country. Its rich historical past can be traced to the Khmer and French influence evident in the ornate Khmer style temples and the grand colonial buildings and villas.
