Day 01 / Arrive Danang - Hoi An
On arrival at Danang airport, meet and transfer to our hotel with an immediate visit to Cham Museum and the China Beach. Then drive to Hoi An. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 02 / Hoi An
After breakfast, we go on a walking tour of the ancient town centre and to see the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese covered bridge and the colourful market with its stalls brimming with tropical specialties. In the afternoon, we walk to the dock for a boat ride on the Thu Bon River to visit the boat building factory and the carpentry cottage industry. Overnight in Hoi An. (B)

Day 03 / Hoi An
After breakfast at about 9 am, a well-known Hoianan chef from the Pho Hoi Garden Restaurant will take us on a walking tour to the central colourful market of Hoi An to introduce us to the raw materials of Vietnamese Hoi Anan food. After marketing, we will be taken to the Pho Hoi Garden Restaurant to have a cooking class of three Vietnamese typical dishes, enjoying the wonderful demonstration, followed by a lunch that we have cooked. The afternoon is free at leisure for wandering around the Hoi An ancient or perhaps have new clothes measured and made! Overnight in Hoi An. (BL)

Day 04 / Depart Danang
After breakfast we transfer to Danang airport for departure flight, or extended holiday in Hanoi and Saigon. (B)
