This trip to Kanchanaburi offers a number of soft adventure activities to be enjoyed by both the young and the young-at-heart. Apart from visiting historical places related to the World War II, a fun jungle trip leads you to the Jungle Campsite in its natural setting, peaceful environs where there is no electricity. You will feel refreshed and restored after your night’s stay in treehouses by the streams of Mae Nam Noi.

Day 01 / Bangkok - Kanchanaburi (-/L/-)
Early morning departure for a trip to historic Kanchanaburi with visits to the Allied War Cemetery, the WWII Museum and the bridge over the River Kwai. Take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridges and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWS. Check in at Kasem Island. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the resort’s pool, self-explore the Kanchanaburi town or take optional to experience the fun of horse riding at the near by River Kwai Family Horse Camp.
Overnight at Kasem Island Resort.

Day 02 / Kanchanaburi - Hellfire Pass - Thong Paphoom - Jungle Camp (with Elephant ride) (B/L/D)
After breakfast depart to transfer by local truck to the elephant camp on the riverbank of Kwai Noi River. Having fun of riding an elephant through the woodland of the river bank. Continue to Hellfire Pass Memorial. Visit its comprehensive exhibition of the memorial?s museum and walk downhill for site visit to glimpse the Death Railway remnants in a scenic location of the River Kwai valley. Continue further north to hilly Thong Papoom area (lunch en route). Stop at a local market in Thong Pha Phum town to buy food and forest gears for jungle stay before getting through jungle by 4×4WD local pick-up on a 3 kilometre dirt track into the jungle to reach jungle campsite near the peaceful stream of Mae Nam Noi. At leisure until time for a Thai dinner with its authentic taste by candle light.

Day 03 / Jungle Camp - Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Start the day with bird-watching around the stream and its vicinity. After breakfast set off for a jungle trek up the stream and an exciting bamboo rafting down the rapid. Enjoy the forest scenery through its peaceful environment. Lunch at the jungle campsite then return to Puthong area by 4×4WD. And transfer to overnight at Kasem Island Resort.

Day 04 / Kanchanaburi - Erawan National Park - Bangkok (B/L/-)
After breakfast head to Erawan National Park to visit the spectacular Erawan Waterfall, considered by many to be the most beautiful in the country. This 1,500-metre cascade of water breaks into seven separate tiers, each with its own profusion of plant life. Deep, emerald-green pools await those energetic enough to take the well-marked trail which goes all the way up to the sixth tier. The first tier is especially good for a swim after the 700-metre climb from the parking area. Lunch pack provided.
Return to the resort and then transfer back to Bangkok. End of services.
