3D Bako National Park Nature Tour

Bako National Park is one of the best places in Sarawak to see wildlife in a natural surrounding. The various types of animals that could be spotted at Bako include proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, long tail macaques, wild boars, monitor lizards, and numerous species of birds.
Tropical rainforest ranges from mangrove to kerangas (heath forest), tropical swamp vegetation, cliff vegetation and beach vegetation.
Day 01 / Kuching - Bako National Park (-/L/D)
Early departure from hotel and drive about 35 minutes to Bako Village. From the village, take about a 25-minute boat ride (depending on the tide) to the park situated in a peninsula. Bako is one of the best places in Sarawak to see wildlife in a natural surrounding. The various types of animals that are commonly spotted at Bako include the proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, long tail macaques, wild boars, monitor lizards and numerous species of birds. Tropical rainforest ranges from mangrove to kerangas (heath forest), tropical swamp vegetation, cliff vegetation and beach vegetation. There are several trails inside the park depending on level of fitness and interest. There is a possibility to swim in the warm waters of the South China Sea by one of the secluded beaches. This is subject to sea and weather conditions. After dinner go for a night walk. Overnight at the park chalet.
Day 02 / Bako National Park (B/L/D)
Spend the morning bird watching then hike to the kerangas plateau. Pitcher plants, orchids, antplants and a variety of other forest vegetation can be spotted. Lunch at a secluded beach. There is more bird watching and wildlife viewing activities in the afternoon. Overnight park chalets.
Day 03 / Bako National Park - Kuching (B/L/-)
Following breakfast, hike to the mangrove forest for bird watching and to search for proboscis monkeys. Return to Kuching in the mid-afternoon (schedule depending on tide).
